Fashion and more
As you might have noticed this post is for over a week already. I ask you for forgiveness. I have been on holiday to Calella with my family. After my blog parade #borrowedmemories is done I will show you a lot of beautiful sketches I did during our stay at the Costa Brava.
You will find the updated schedule for the following post here. But now to this week’s blogs. As the title implies this week is about fashion and more.
First, let us start with Julia from Adorable Stitches. This is quite special to me because Julia is the only participant I know by personally from the „real“ life. I have met so many wonderful persons while blogging but most of them just online. Julia and I know each other from work. She was an apprentice in my former company and we stayed in contact via Facebook afterwards.
Julia loves sewing and knitting and her blog is about her creative work. But she also gives information about choosing the right material or has some „unboxing“ posts about her glossy box subscription. I absolutely love unboxing posts. As I am a vegan I would subscribe for a glossy box myself but unboxing posts kind of give me the feeling of unboxing the box myself.
For my sketches I chose three posts of Julia’s own work because I could not decide on one So here is a sketch of a little collection of pieces you will find on Adorable Stitches: „Kleid Enya“ (dress Enya), „Die Chill- Jacke“ (the chill-out cardigan) and „Silver Monk Sweater“. I hope you like it. Many thanks to Julia for participating.
Lady in tangerine
The next beautiful lady in the row is Marianne from Haute&Comely. I chose the Tangerines in Summer post which was one of the first posts I saw on Marianne’s blog. I absolutely adore the bright tangerine colour of Marianne’s jumpsuit and the styling is just perfect. Especially the glasses are marvellous. I am searching for a new pair of glasses at the moment and I do not find such a frame. As the distance between my eyes is so small I find matching glasses in the children’s department. And there are now 50ies cat-eyes to be fund. Thanks to Marianne for participating.
The last participation blogger is an Instagram feed – Mandeep Singh from gaygoat_com. Mandeep asked me to sketch an apartment in Kingsbridge, London. I really enjoyed sketching a room or interior design. Because I do not very often sketch interior – after doing this sketch I ask myself why. As I am planning to renovate my own kitchen I will give it a try. And this may also help to show what I want because I have a clear picture on my mind how my kitchen should look like. Thank you Mandeep, for this experience.
What do you think about these sketches? Please leave a comment below.
If you are interested in the other blog post of my blog parade you will find them here. Enjoy reading.
Next week I will continue with two food blogs.
